Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit Amboseli National Park is during the dry seasons:

  • June to October (peak season)
  • January to February (less crowded)

During these periods, wildlife congregates around water sources, making them easier to spot. The skies are clearer, offering better views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

However, Amboseli can be visited year-round. The wet seasons (March to May and November to December) offer lush landscapes and fewer tourists, but some roads may be impassable.
